On 23rd May 2025, The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Level 2 students from JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) successfully culminated their Community Health Nursing exposure at STKRJ Kg. Mata Mata, marking another milestone in their academic journey.
The program was carried out as part of their course requirements, with students and lecturers working closely with the local community. FEU Dean, Ms. Moira Uy, together with JCHS faculty, expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and full support extended by Ketua Kampung, Capt. (R) Pengiran Muhammad Redzuan, throughout the course of the engagement.
During the exposure, students conducted community health assessments and implemented health programs that focused on health promotion and disease prevention. These activities emphasized the value of school-community collaboration, fostering not only students’ experiential learning but also stronger community relations.
Through such curricular initiatives, JPMC College of Health Sciences continues to pursue its vision of nurturing future healthcare leaders in Brunei—equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compassion to make a lasting impact on society.
