Crochet for Beginners: A Fun and Fulfilling WRP Success!

On 13th and 20th March 2025, JPMC College of Health Sciences hosted one of its most heartwarming Wellness Recreation Program (WRP) activities—Crochet for Beginners! The two-session event introduced students to the relaxing and rewarding art of crochet.

Participants had the chance to learn basic crochet techniques, get creative with colorful yarn, and craft their very first handmade creations—from cute coasters to miniature plushies. More than just a skill-building activity, the sessions offered a peaceful break from academic stress and a chance to connect through creativity and conversation.

The response from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many sharing their excitement over discovering a new hobby they can continue beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated—your enthusiasm and adorable creations made these sessions truly special. We look forward to bringing you more exciting and enriching WRP experiences in the future!
