On 24th September 2025, it was an impactful day for JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS)! The college took part in the Forum on Innovation Ecosystem Development held at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) with the theme, “Universities as Catalysts: Strengthening Brunei’s Innovation Ecosystem for STI-led Development.” The event highlighted the vital role educational institutions play in fostering innovation and driving national growth.
A huge congratulations to our Dean, Ms. Rachelle Sarmiento, for her meaningful contribution as one of the panelists. She shared valuable insights on how higher education can drive innovation, nurture creativity, and influence the future of Brunei’s socio-economic landscape.
Events like this not only encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among institutions but also strengthen the bonds between academia, industry, and the broader innovation ecosystem.
By supporting and promoting such initiatives, JCHS continues to empower its students and faculty to become leaders in innovation, research, and development—shaping a brighter and more sustainable future for Brunei.
