On 16 November 2025, JCHS proudly joined the Ministry of Health’s World Diabetes Day event, which saw an encouraging and energetic turnout from the public. The event successfully brought together healthcare professionals, students, and community members with the shared mission of raising awareness about diabetes and promoting healthier lifestyle choices.
Throughout the day, visitors explored educational exhibits, interactive activities, and health information booths designed to deepen understanding of diabetes, its risk factors, and prevention methods. JCHS students and staff played an active role by engaging attendees through demonstrations, sharing practical health tips, and guiding them through enjoyable challenges. Many participants left with prizes, valuable knowledge, and a greater appreciation for early detection and diabetes prevention.
Thank you to the Ministry of Health for inviting JCHS to take part in this meaningful event, it was an honour to support the nation’s efforts in educating the public and promoting better health.
