On 12th July 2025, students of JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Nursing Informatics, a vital component in modern healthcare practice.
The session was enriched by guest speakers from the Ministry of Health and Dynamik Technologies, who shared their expertise and experiences on the integration of technology in nursing care. Among the speakers were Hazirah Hamdani from the Ministry of Health, and Ahmad Zaimi Faaiz Haji Zaim and Klyder Rimpang from Dynamik Technologies.
The speakers highlighted the role of BruHIMS (Brunei Healthcare Information Management System) in nursing practice, emphasizing how digital healthcare systems support efficiency, patient safety, and quality of care. The session also gave students valuable insights into the evolving role of technology in shaping the future of healthcare delivery in Brunei.
The lecture not only expanded the students’ knowledge but also inspired them to embrace digital tools as part of their future professional practice.
