JCHS Students Put Disaster Nursing Skills into Action

On 4th July 2025, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) students participated in an immersive Disaster Nursing simulation, putting their knowledge and skills to the test in real-world emergency scenarios. The activity included a morning simulation of a natural disaster and an afternoon mass casualty incident involving a car accident, offering students hands-on experience in managing critical situations.

This exercise, part of the Disaster Nursing module, allowed students to develop essential skills such as rapid assessment, teamwork, and effective decision-making under pressure. The activity emphasized the importance of preparedness and coordination in delivering timely care during emergencies.

JCHS commends the students for their focus, resilience, and quick thinking, which reflect the high standards of training the college provides in preparing future healthcare leaders for the challenges of real-world nursing.
