On 15th –16th August 2025, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) successfully conducted a two-day Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training, bringing together 42 healthcare professionals from the General Medical Services, Nursing, and Specialist Medical Services departments of Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC).
The training, held over 15–16 August 2025, was designed to enhance participants’ expertise in managing cardiovascular emergencies, with a strong emphasis on clinical decision-making, effective communication, and teamwork in critical care scenarios.
Through a combination of evidence-based instruction and practical simulations, participants had the opportunity to refine their technical skills, strengthen their confidence, and improve their readiness to deliver prompt, effective care in life-threatening situations.
By the end of the program, participants were better equipped with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience, reinforcing their role as vital responders in saving lives during cardiovascular emergencies. The success of this training highlights JCHS’s ongoing commitment to raising the standards of healthcare education and professional development in Brunei Darussalam.
