On 27th August 2024, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) had the pleasure of hosting Year 2 and 3 students from Sekolah Rendah Amo, Temburong, for an educational visit. The students, full of curiosity and enthusiasm, explored several of our key facilities, including the Simulation Ward, Anatomy & Physiology Lab, and Microbiology Chemistry Lab.
During their visit, the young students were introduced to the world of healthcare and nursing through interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences in our state-of-the-art labs. The Simulation Ward, designed to replicate real-life clinical scenarios, particularly captivated the students as they observed and participated in simulated patient care.
In the Anatomy & Physiology Lab, the students were given a closer look at the human body, learning about its complex systems in a fun and engaging way. Meanwhile, the Microbiology Chemistry Lab offered them a glimpse into the microscopic world of bacteria and viruses, fostering their interest in science and health.
The visit left a lasting impact, sparking an interest in the nursing profession among the students. Several expressed their desire to pursue a career in nursing, inspired by the hands-on experiences and the dedication of the healthcare professionals they encountered at JCHS.
We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and are grateful to Sekolah Rendah Amo for visiting us. We look forward to welcoming more young minds in the future as we continue to promote the importance of healthcare education.
Thank you, Sekolah Rendah Amo, for choosing JCHS as a part of your educational journey!
