SMPIHM Students Explore the World of Healthcare at JCHS

On 2nd September 2025, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) was delighted to welcome 40 students and teachers from Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Secondary School (SMPIHM) for an engaging campus visit that offered them a first-hand look into the world of healthcare.

The visit began with an introduction to JCHS, followed by an interactive Body Interact session, a virtual patient simulator that forms part of the college’s curriculum and reflects its commitment to innovative teaching methods. Students and teachers also had the opportunity to tour the simulation ward, laboratories, and library, gaining valuable insights into the learning environment and resources available to nursing students.

The experience not only sparked curiosity about the nursing profession but also encouraged meaningful discussions about future careers in healthcare.

JCHS extends its heartfelt appreciation to SMPIHM for their participation and looks forward to inspiring more students through similar visits in the future.
