Tea with JCHS Brings Career Educators Together for an Insightful Visit

On 19 November 2025, JCHS had the pleasure of hosting our Tea with JCHS event, welcoming career teachers from government schools along with representatives from the Career Education Unit, Department of Schools. The gathering created a warm and engaging platform for educators to learn more about JCHS and the pathways available for students interested in pursuing a future in healthcare.

The session began with welcoming remarks and an introduction to JCHS, setting the tone for a productive exchange. This was followed by an informative sharing session on the nursing profession, where educators gained a clearer understanding of the essential roles, opportunities, and growing demand within the field. Participants also took part in a hands-on Body Interact demonstration, allowing them to experience a realistic clinical decision-making simulation similar to what our students use in their training.

Teachers were later guided on a comprehensive tour across our facilities, including the Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Microbiology and Chemistry Lab, Simulation Ward, Delivery Room, and Library. Each stop offered a closer look at JCHS’s learning environment, highlighting the practical, skill-based approach that helps prepare future nurses for real-world healthcare settings.

The event provided a meaningful opportunity for JCHS to strengthen its partnership with schools and empower educators with the knowledge they need to guide students toward a fulfilling and impactful career in nursing.
