On 15 May 2026, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) held a heartfelt farewell ceremony to honour its Final Year Nursing students as they reached the culmination of their academic journey and prepared to embark on their professional careers.
The event served as a meaningful celebration of the students’ years of dedication, perseverance, and personal growth. Throughout the ceremony, students reflected on the friendships they had built, the memorable experiences they had shared, and the challenges they had overcome together. From countless hours of study to invaluable clinical placements, their journey at JCHS has shaped them into compassionate, resilient, and capable future healthcare professionals.
During the ceremony, Dean Rachelle Sarmiento officially sent off the graduating cohort with words of encouragement and inspiration. She urged the students to carry forward the knowledge, values, and professionalism they had cultivated throughout their studies, reminding them to serve both the nation and humanity with excellence, integrity, and compassion.
While the occasion marked the end of one chapter, it also symbolised the beginning of a new journey as the graduates prepare to enter the nursing profession and make meaningful contributions to healthcare.
JCHS extends its warmest congratulations to all graduating nursing students and wishes them every success as they begin the next stage of their careers. With their dedication, knowledge, and caring spirit, they are well-equipped to make a positive impact on the lives of the communities they will serve.
