On 12 July 2026, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) marked a historic milestone by welcoming its first inbound Student Exchange Programme cohort, comprising seven students and four university officials from Binawan University, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The two-week programme, held from 13 to 24 July 2026, represents a significant step in JCHS’ commitment to strengthening international partnerships and providing students with opportunities for global learning and cross-cultural engagement. Through the exchange, participants will take part in a range of academic, clinical, and cultural activities designed to enrich their educational experience while fostering mutual understanding between the two institutions.
Throughout their stay, the exchange students will engage in academic learning, experience Bruneian culture, and participate in activities that encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development. The programme also offers valuable opportunities for students from both institutions to build meaningful friendships and broaden their perspectives through intercultural exchange.
The arrival of the Binawan University delegation marks the beginning of a new chapter in JCHS’ internationalisation efforts, reflecting the college’s vision of preparing healthcare professionals who are globally minded, culturally competent, and equipped to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
JCHS extends a warm welcome to the students and officials from Binawan University and looks forward to an enriching two weeks of learning, collaboration, and lasting memories that will further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
