On 12th March 2026, JCHS students marked the final day of their placement at MRS, Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba, concluding a unique and enriching learning experience.
To wrap up the programme, students were given a guided tour of the facility, where they gained valuable insights into the role of nursing within a military setting. The visit provided a closer look at the day-to-day responsibilities of healthcare personnel on base, expanding their understanding of how care is delivered in specialised environments.
The experience offered students a broader perspective on the nursing profession, demonstrating that nursing extends beyond traditional hospital settings. It highlighted the diverse career pathways available and reinforced the importance of adaptability and competence in different healthcare contexts.
