On 8 May 2026, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) officially launched its Moral Project Series with the seminar, “Ethical Nurse: Integrity in Academic Practice,” marking the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening ethical values among future healthcare professionals.
The session brought together students and lecturers in meaningful discussions on the importance of honesty, accountability, and professionalism in both academic and clinical settings. Through active participation and thoughtful dialogue, attendees explored ethical decision-making and the fundamental values that underpin safe, compassionate, and trustworthy nursing practice.
The seminar highlighted the vital role that integrity plays in shaping competent healthcare professionals, reinforcing that ethical conduct begins in the classroom and extends throughout one’s professional career.
JCHS was honoured to welcome Dr. Moira Gaviola Uy, Dean of Nursing at Far Eastern University (FEU), as the guest speaker. Drawing on her expertise and experience in nursing education, Dr. Uy encouraged students to uphold integrity, embrace accountability, and lead with purpose as they prepare to serve their future patients and communities.
